Health economics and primary care
Demographic trends in Sweden and most other countries make age related diseases more and more common. Dementia diseases and other neurodegnerative diseases are no exceptions. The societal costs for these diseases are growing, which makes it even more important to use the resources as effective as possible.
In this core the research is focused on costs and effectiveness of resource utilization in the treatment and care of dementia diseases. The researchers also study the role of primary care for persons with dmentia and how to develop this role.
